Xiaomi has established its foothold in India as a territory not only to sell smartphones but also to launch its other electronic devices as well. The Chinese manufacturer has launched many other innovative products in India, although not as much as it has launched in China. We have seen pollution mask, sound bar and other electronic devices from Xiaomi in the market but now the brand has announced its Mi LED Smart Bulb. To recall, this product was first launched in India through the Mi crowdfunding platform, which avails China exclusive products in India. The Mi LED Smart Bulb boasts of exciting features like voice command, multiple colours and more.
Mi LED Smart Bulb Features and Specifications
As per Xiaomi’s claims, the Mi LED Smart Bulb lends support for both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants. The bulb also comes with an “11-year” lifespan. Further, for controlling the bulb, the users will be able to use the Mi Home app. Apart from this, Xiaomi has also claimed that the bulb supports 16 million colours. The bulb’s availability in the Indian market was revealed by the Xiaomi Global VP and the India Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain in a tweet which read “Mi fans, happy to share that Wi-Fi enabled #MiLEDSmartBulb home device is now available on open sale across mi.com, @amazonIN, and @Flipkart!”
The price tag for the Mi LED Smart Bulb has been set at Rs 1,299 for purchase, which is Rs 300 more than its original price tag on the crowdfunding platform. As the tweet reveals, the bulb will be available across mi.com, Amazon and Flipkart. Xiaomi has also talked about the advantages of this new device and has said that the bulb does not require a hub to operate and can simply be set up with the company’s Mi Home application. The Mi Home app can also be used to control the bulb and execute functions like switching it On and Off, setting a schedule, changing brightness, and changing colour.
Mi LED Smart Bulb Supports Up to 16 Million Colours
Like we mentioned above, the Mi LED Smart Bulb has been rated to deliver up to 11-years of life and supports 16-million colours. One of the best parts of the new Mi LED Smart Bulb is that it supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, which can be used to control the device. This bulb also boasts of having up to 800 lumens of brightness. It is worth noting that the first time that the Mi LED Smart Bulb was introduced in India was back in April when Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform was also launched in the country. On its crowdfunding platform, Xiaomi also sells other China exclusive products which are not yet available in India.
