Xiaomi sub-brand Poco launched its first smartphone aka Poco F1 last year. The Poco F1 has received a massive response from the consumers mainly because of the value it offered for the asking price. The Poco F1 is right now the cheapest Snapdragon 845 running smartphone globally. On account of receiving an overwhelmingly positive response, the company has announced to reduce the price of Poco F1 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant by Rs 2,000 in India for a limited period. It is worth noting that this is a temporary price cut. After the price cut, the Poco F1 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will sell for Rs 20,999.

Additionally, the Poco F1 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage can be purchased for Rs 19,999, while the premium 8GB+256GB variant is available for Rs 27,999. Do make a note that there are additional cashback offers running on all the variants. These offers will be available starting March 25 midnight and March 28 on Flipkart and Mi.com. Furthermore, Poco has added Game Turbo mode which will enhance the gaming performance on the smartphone.

Game Turbo Support Comes to Poco F1

Ever since the launch of the phone, we have seen Poco bring lots of features to the Poco F1 based on consumer demand. After the launch, the Poco F1 received several nifty features like 960fps slo-mo video recording, steady handheld night photography, 4K video recording at 60fps and Widevine L1 certification.

Commenting on the success of the Poco F1, Manmohan Chandolu, General Manager, Poco India, said: “What started out as a promising dream has now become a successful reality. We designed Poco F1 by making product choices that assure unbelievable performance. With every feedback that we received, we refined the user experience, bringing innovations that truly matter. Poco F1 Evolved is a new experience in the same body, with features like Widevine L1 certification and Game Turbo mode. We are positive that our customers will immensely benefit from these innovative features and make the most of Poco F1.”

One of the features which consumers asked for is a dedicated gaming mode, and guess what, Poco is adding one. Poco announced that the Poco F1 is now getting an all-new Game Turbo mode. With the Game Turbo mode, Poco wants to offer customers a whole new level of gaming experience. For the unware, the Game Turbo mode enables smart allocation of CPU and GPU resources resulting in a fluid gaming experience.

There's a game boost mode inside MIUI for Poco, but it just clears the background tasks and frees up the RAM, but the Game Turbo is a dedicated gaming mode with several features like OxygenOS' Game Mode that offers several nifty features.

At the moment, it's unknown when Poco is planning to roll out the Game Turbo mode to the consumers, but we're hoping that the next MIUI for Poco Beta will have it, followed by a stable rollout.
