Android 9 Pie Beta Testing Finished for Nokia 6.1 Plus, HMD Global to Rollout Stable Build Soon

The Nokia X6 which was initially released in China was rebranded as the Nokia 6.1 Plus and launched in India recently. The phone boots Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and it comes with a stock Android experience along with an Android One certification which gives it the eligibility to receive the latest security patches and timely updates. Nokia with its range of Android One phones has gained quite a reputation for pushing very timely updates for its phone. However, the Android 9 Pie is already here, and Nokia phone users are awaiting the launch of the latest Android version for their devices. October 26 marked the end of the beta testing phase for Android 9 Pie for Nokia 6.1 Plus users. As such, the stable release of Android 9 Pie shouldn’t be much more of a wait for Nokia 6.1 Plus owners.
