BSNL-Amazon Prime Offer: Details and Everything You Need to Know

According to the information we received, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is offering free Amazon Prime subscription to its postpaid users on plan priced above Rs 399. In addition, BSNL landline broadband users on plans priced above Rs 745 will also be eligible for the offer. BSNL and Amazon have partnered together to offer one year of Amazon Prime, which is currently available for subscription at Rs 999.

Essentially, BSNL postpaid users on Rs 399 plan or above and landline broadband plan priced above Rs 745 will be eligible for the free Amazon Prime subscription.

BSNL Amazon Prime Offer: How to Avail It?

First of all, a BSNL user has to upgrade to a BSNL Rs 399+ mobile postpaid or Rs 745+ landline broadband plan to avail the free one-year subscription. After subscribing, head over to www.portal.bsnl.in and click on the special BSNL-Amazon offer banner (which isn't live yet as of this writing), but it will go live in the next couple of hours, or even it might take a few days, according to our sources.

Once the banner goes live, click on it and enter your eligible BSNL number details and generate OTP. After successful validation, the website displays an 'Activate' popup screen. In the next screen, log in using your Amazon account details or create a new Amazon account if you do not have an account on Amazon. That said, your Amazon Prime subscription is now activated for one year at no extra cost.

Do make a note that this offer is not available for existing Amazon Prime members.

Amazon Prime: Benefits and Details

Amazon Prime was launched by the e-commerce giant a couple of years ago in India. The subscription, which was initially available for Rs 499 is now priced at Rs 999 for one year. Initially, Amazon Prime offered just faster deliveries and early access to any special sales on the portal. Later on, Amazon launched other services such as Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Prime Music which also comes bundled with the subscription for one year at no extra cost.

BSNL Formation Day Offers

The government-owned PSU has also introduced four new tariff plans on the eve of BSNL Formation Day. Today, BSNL turned 18 and it's celebrating in style. Alongside the Amazon Prime subscription, the telco has come up with four prepaid plans: STV 18, STV 1801, STV 1201 and STV 601. The STV 18 is possibly the best one introduced by the telco in recent times as it offers unlimited voice calls and data for a period of two days. The remaining three STVs offer 18% extra talk time along with bundled data for 90 days.
