This new offer is only valid for JioPhone users and not regular Jio SIM users or other smartphone users. Buyers will need to pay Rs 594 upfront to activate this plan under the Monsoon Hungama scheme. As soon as the plan gets activated, which is instant, users start getting the benefit of unlimited data and unlimited calling. Subscribers also get the added advantage of free SMSes with this plan. For people who would like to buy a new JioPhone under the exchange offer by shelling out Rs 501 will have the service of MNP (Mobile Number Portability) at their disposal since the new phone will come with a new SIM. To top it all, Reliance Jio is also offering an add-on pack of 6GB for Rs 101.
In addition to this new plan of Rs 594 with six months validity. Reliance Jio has also launched other plans for JioPhone users which are more economically priced. The telco offers the Rs 49, Rs 99 and Rs 153 plan for JioPhone users.
Subscribers of the Rs 49 plan enjoy 1GB data while the Rs 153 plan ships 1.5GB data per day. On the other hand, the Rs 99 plan differs a bit as it offers 0.5GB data per day for 28 days. However, it comes with the benefit of 300 SMS.
