New Jio site commissioned at my relatives’ location which had very poor coverage earlier and for which I raised a complaint with DoT. So its not like they sit on complaints, like a lot of people say. Just that they have to prioritize some locations over the others. Planning for this site must have been going on prior to my complaint though.

Did you complaint through email (if so can you kindly bshare the email id) or did you visit any particular link or website, to register the complaint. I too am facing severe coverage issue to need to make a complaint.

@ Sunny, How to raise complaint with DoT ? There is very poor coverage at my location, have sent several mails to Jio & grievance also. They keep on extending timeline on my request by 3 months…

By DoT I meant PGPORTAL. Response type & time might not be the same for different locations. If they’re making you wait so much then chances are that they don’t have any plans for immediate network expansion. Use another telco’s services till then.

@sunny, TBH in your friends case , the site would have already planned and it just came as coincidence… I have been told by my cousin who works for tower vision that none of the operators including Jio care about apathy of 3-5 users in area and come what may happen never ever he has heard Telco provisioning new site because 3-5 user complaint.. all sites are planned based on their original plan only and if they feel that it’s business centre or public area where their is rush of visitors then only site is provisioned
