Reliance Jio has been introducing new offers with attractive benefits in the monsoon season. The Mukesh Ambani led telco had recently launched the Monsoon Hungama offer for its JioPhone. However, to the surprise of its prepaid customers, Reliance Jio has introduced a new Digital Pack which is not a new prepaid plan, but instead, it is an add-on pack which Jio is offering for free. The Digital Pack add-on will grant users 2GB of daily data benefit apart from their subscribed plan.

Jio Digital Pack

This new offer by Reliance Jio is only valid till July 30, and it will only be extended to select Reliance Jio users as per the MyJio app. However, it is clear that the offer will be exclusive to the prepaid customers of Jio. Also, it is worth noting that the SMS and calling benefits under this plan will remain unchanged and the benefit will only be in the form of data. The pack will be open for subscription for users only when they have an active prepaid connection on their number.

Under this offer, for instance, a Jio prepaid subscriber has an active plan of 1.5GB daily data with unlimited calling and 100 free SMS per day to their credit, then the free subscription to the Digital Pack would mean that the users would get a total benefit of 3.5GB data per day. However, the unlimited calling and the SMS benefits in the account would remain the same as the primary recharge. The user will be credited only with 100 SMS per day. Also, subscribers should keep in mind that the extra 2GB benefit of Digital Pack will be valid till July 30 (July 31 for some users). The selection criteria for this pack also remains unknown since Reliance Jio hasn’t published any explicit information about this new add-on.
