Truecaller has a made a revamp to its block section on its Android app. The new update which changes the block section of the caller identification apps now makes it easier for the users to manage their blocklist. There is also a bugfix accompanying this update which patches the issue of disabled mark SMS as read functionality. There is also another news from the developers of Truecaller, as the company has revealed that Truecaller will be ending support for Windows Phone. The Caller ID app was launched for Windows phone back in September 2015, and it came with features like offline caller ID support and profile pictures of identified callers. Now following a similar move to Microsoft, which ended Windows phone support for its Skype for Business, Microsoft teams and Yammer apps, Truecaller is also wrapping up its operations on Windows phones.

The app which is only 26MB in size is up for downloading and updating on Google Play Store and now ups the version to 9.4.10. The new update makes the block section in the app easier to navigate and more simplified. Also, the issue with marking the SMS as read has been resolved.
The termination of Windows Phone support by the Truecaller team has been confirmed. A WindowsLatest report quoted a Truecaller Help Twitter account which said “Due to Microsoft stopping focus on developing Windows 10 Mobile, we have also discontinued support. Sorry about that.” However, some people are doubting the authenticity of the Twitter account which posted the tweet, since it has not been verified by Twitter.
