ACT Fibernet is finally responding to the threat poised from broadband providers such as BSNL and Airtel. ACT Fibernet is now offering an extra 750GB to the customers, reacting to Airtel's 1000GB free data offering. ACT Fibernet is one of the leading broadband service providers in the country with operations in key cities such as Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, etc.
ACT Fibernet is giving additional 750GB free data to the customers who're choosing a package for at least six months. If a customer chooses a half-yearly or annual plan from the ACT, the company will be adding 750GB free data to their account, which can be used on top of the standard plan's data.
However, the additional 750GB data will be credited to the customer's account as 150GB per month for five months until March 2018. Suppose, if you're choosing the ACT Progress plan in Bangalore, the plan already gives you a whopping 1TB download and upload FUP per month. And on top of that, you will get additional 150GB data, which takes the total FUP to 1150GB per month for the next five months. That said, we're already into December 2017, so the customers will get only 600GB data until March 2018.
Do make a note that you have to choose a half-yearly or an annual plan. If you choose a quarterly plan, you won't get the additional 750GB data. Another thing to note here is that the offer is applicable only to the new customers who're looking to join ACT Fibernet.
Furthermore, the additional data benefit differs with every city. Sadly, this offer is not applicable in Hyderabad, where the ACT is enjoying 65% market share. For Delhi residents, the same offer gives 20% additional data which will be counted based on your plan. And in Bangalore, the benefit mentioned above of 150GB per month is applicable.
The icing on the cake is ACT Fibernet is also giving free Wi-Fi router alongside this offer. Nevertheless, this offer from ACT Fibernet will attract the new customers, and yes, the company is giving equal competition to Airtel in the broadband department.
