Nokia 8 With 4GB of RAM, Dual Rear Camera to Launch by July End for Less Than €600

A leak recently revealed the upcoming Nokia smartphones details along with their processor details. The smartphones in question will be the Nokia 2, Nokia 7, and Nokia 8. The Nokia 2 will make use of the entry-level Snapdragon 212 Mobile Platform, whereas the Nokia 7 will come with the Snapdragon 660 SoC. The Nokia 8 will be the first Nokia smartphone to come with Snapdragon 835 chipset, and it will be the company's first flagship smartphone.

A new report from winfuture.de says that HMD has finalised the first flagship smartphone from Nokia will be the Nokia 8 and not Nokia 9. Apart from the name, the publication has leaked a few more details about the Nokia 8. The smartphone will arrive with model number- TA-1004.

Yes, it is the same smartphone, which was spotted in various benchmark sites in recent times. And the benchmark listings also revealed the key specifications of the smartphone. The Nokia 8 will make use of the Snapdragon 845 chipset, clocked at 2.45GHz. And there will be 4GB of RAM, along with 64GB of internal storage.

Recently, a leak said that HMD had cancelled the 4GB RAM variant of Nokia TA-1004, but it now looks like that there will be a 4GB RAM variant of Nokia 8. And yes, the 6GB RAM option of Nokia 8 will be released later. Also, a leaked video revealed the Nokia 8 smartphone with a dual camera at the back.

The Nokia 8 will also be the company's first smartphone to feature two cameras at the back with ZEISS lens. That said, HMD has recently partnered with ZEISS to power the Nokia smartphones and has already teased a dual camera Nokia smartphone.

Furthermore, the Nokia 8 will have dual SIM support along with a dedicated microSD card slot, which can accept up to 256GB memory cards. The leak says that the phone will arrive in various colour options- blue, steel, silver, and blue. There will be a copper (orange) colour variant as well, but it will be unveiled later after the initial announcement.

Lastly, the Nokia 8 will be released by the end of July, carrying a price tag between €550 to €600, possibly €589 (approx. Rs. 43,500) The Indian pricing of the device is said to be Rs. 44,999. Having said that, the Nokia 8 will be announced in India as well, but the launch date is yet to be revealed.
