It looks like Reliance Communications (RCom) led by Anil Ambani had learnt a lesson for not launching attractive tariff plans when incumbent operators such as Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, BSNL, etc. were luring customers. The company has been launching new tariff plans from last month and now come up with yet another plan.

RCom is now offering 1GB of 2G data per day for 365 days with a recharge of Rs. 365. The recharge amount might differ from circle to circle, and so does the validity. For example, the plan gives 382GB data for 382 days for the same amount of Rs. 365 for Chennai users, but in Andhra Pradesh, it provides 365GB data for 365 days.

The 2G data seems to be a huge letdown because other operators are providing 4G data at the same price. But none of the operators have been offering it for 365 days like RCom. Also, this plan is valid for 28 days.

Recently, RCom launched a new plan of Rs. 193 for its prepaid customers, where it is offering 1GB of 4G data per day for 28 days, which is on par with other telecom operator plans.

RCom first started luring its customers with the postpaid plans of Rs. 499, Rs. 399, Rs. 333, and Rs. 239. The Rs. 499 plan is the best of the three as it gives 30GB data irrespective of your handset model (4G/3G/2G), along with unlimited voice calls to any network across India including incoming and outgoing roaming calls. There would be 3000 SMS per billing cycle, and the plan will be valid for 30 days. Apparently, this plan costs per GB data at just Rs. 16.6.

The Rs. 399 plan gives 15GB data along with unlimited voice- both incoming and outgoing roaming calls, and 3000 SMS for 30 days. The Rs. 333 plan provides 30GB 4G data, along with 1000 minutes local and national calling per billing cycle. This plan makes per GB cost at just Rs. 11.1.

Lastly, the Rs. 239 plan gives unlimited voice calls to any network in home circle and free incoming roaming calls. However, the roaming outgoing calls will be charged at regular rates (50 paise/ minute), and 100 SMS for 30 days. The national SMS will be charged at 25 paise/ SMS.

The new Rs. 365 plan for prepaid customers can be availed by recharge portals such as Mobikwik, Paytm, and RCom's online portal as well.
