Bharti Airtel, the leading Indian telecom operator, back in March 2017 announced that it would be gifting free data to its postpaid customers for being recognised as India’s fastest network by Ookla. Initially, Airtel offered free data up to 30GB for three months after which the offer was extended by another month.

And today, an email from Airtel reveals that the same offer is now being extended for another three months starting July 1, 2017. The email was sent out by Bharti Airtel CEO, Gopal Vittal, which read as follows: “Now as the monsoons approach, we are sending another shower of data your way. I am delighted to share that we are extending the data surprise by another three months. Now you get the extra data for three more billing cycles. All you need to do is claim your surprise on My Airtel app after July 1, 2017.”

However, the email did not mention about how much free data will be offered this time. Previously, Airtel offered up to 10GB free data each month for three months. Most of the customers received 10GB data per month, while some of them got just 2GB data per billing cycle.

It will be good if Airtel offers the same amount of data this time as well. Gopal Vittal also stated “So, go ahead and share those fun moments freely with friends & family as you enjoy the monsoons. This is our way of saying thank you for being part of the Airtel family & for having trusted us and believed in us over the years.”
Besides this, Airtel is also offering free 10GB data per month for three months for all the new postpaid connections. For new postpaid users, this will be a huge treat because they will receive the new connection data of 10GB along with that is the Monsoon data offer.

Also, for the postpaid users who availed the offer earlier, free data will be credited automatically while other users have to redeem the offer from MyAirtel application
