5 Prepaid and Postpaid Plans Launched by Idea Cellular Recently to Combat Airtel and Reliance Jio

Idea Cellular is currently India’s third largest telecom operator with a user base of over 195 million. The company in order to form the country’s leading telecom operator has joined hands with its counterpart Vodafone India. The merger is expected to be done by the end of 2018, and till then, Idea said that the company would be competitive enough in the market.

After Reliance Jio’s entry, Idea’ subscriber addition slowed down. As a result, the company started luring the customers by introducing new offers, which are in line with Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer and Airtel’s new plans. Furthermore, Idea is not only concentrating on just prepaid offers but also introduced various new postpaid plans. Here’re the five prepaid and postpaid plans introduced by Idea Cellular in the last six months.

Rs. 447 Plan for Prepaid Users

This plan from Idea Cellular is aimed at Airtel Rs. 399 and Reliance Jio’s Rs. 309 plan. It offers 1GB data per day along with unlimited calling for ten weeks (70 days). This plan offers just 3000 minutes of voice calling.

Rs. 297 Plan for Prepaid Customers

Along with the Rs. 447 plan, Idea also unveiled a Rs. 297 pack, which offers unlimited Idea to Idea calls, along with 1GB data per day for 70 days. This plan comes with voice call limitation of 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week.
