With every passing day, Indian telecom sector is undergoing some massive changes. These days, we are witnessing some new offer coming out every day to attract customers. Now, we are about to see another change from two of the India’s top telecom operators. As per sources this is done just to avoid misuse rest of the T&C applies the same.
Yes, both the Bharti Airtel and Vodafone, India’s two major incumbents are about to revamp their existing unlimited calling offers.
As you might be aware that Vodafone India, last month introduced two new plans of Rs. 148 and Rs. 348 offering unlimited calling options to every prepaid customer.

Vodafone
According to our source, Vodafone will be revamping both the Rs. 148 and Rs. 348 plans by limiting the voice calls to just 300 minutes per day. That said, customers whoever passes the daily limit will be charged at 10 paisa per minute.
The Rs. 148 plan offers unlimited local and STD voice calls within Vodafone network along with 300MB of 4G data and 50MB of 3G data valid for 28 days. Previously, the company used to offer unlimited voice calling with no daily limit.

The same case will be with Airtel as well. Airtel has Rs. 145 and Rs. 345 plans (differs with the circle) under their belt offering unlimited voice calls along with a little amount of data. The yet-to-be-revamped plan will limit the voice calling per day, and according to the source, the company will allow users to choose the plan on per week limit as well.

Airtel
The Rs. 145 plan will offer 1200 minutes of local and STD Airtel to Airtel voice calls for one week, and if they choose on per day basis, the voice calling will be limited to 300 minutes per day, same as Vodafone.
There’s another option as well in Airtel offering. Customers whoever calls 100 unique users in seven days will also be charged nominal rates. All the consumers will be charged at 10 paisa per minute after exhausting their allotted quota. The same scenario applies to the Rs. 345 plan as well.
