Vodafone SuperNet 4G launched in Madurai and Tuticorin, hourly products offered at Rs. 18 per hour

After the recent launches in Coimbatore and Tirupur, Vodafone India has rolled out its SuperNet 4G services in Madurai and Tuticorin, announces a release from the company.

Vodafone SuperNet 4G in these areas are launched on 2100 Mhz band and it can be accessed via a wide range of devices, including Mi-Fi and dongles. The service provider promises a super fast internet experience on its 4G networks, especially a buffer-free high-definition video streaming, two-way video calls, etc.




“As a steadfast partner to Digital India, we are delighted to launch Vodafone SuperNet 4G in Madurai and Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. 4G has the potential to revolutionize the mobile experience through powerful innovation that impacts how we work and live. Vodafone’s global expertise and experience of launching 4G across 20 countries gives us a better understanding of this technology and the needs of the 4G customer,” S. Murali, Business Head- Tamil Nadu,  Vodafone India, said after launching the service.

Other major towns and cities in Tamil Nadu will get SuperNet 4G by the end of March 2017.

Vodafone 4G Offers in Madurai and Tuticorin

Similar to the earlier launches, Vodafone India has announced various launch offers in Madurai and Tuticorin. The customers of these regions can get a free upgrade to 4G SIM, almost instantaneously. The doorstep delivery is offered for postpaid SIMs. With every upgrade, free 2GB data can also be availed. The data plans start at Rs. 8 for 30MB and extend up to Rs. 999 for 22GB. There are hourly products (Super Hour) available, starting at Rs. 18 per hour.

The subscribers upgrading to 4G can access Vodafone Play for free, for a span of three months, and enjoy various entertainment options provided at no extra cost. Vodafone Mi-Fi can connect up to 15 devices at a time, said Vodafone. Moreover, the service provider offers 4G international roaming in more than 10 countries, including Sri Lanka, UAE, UK, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Netherlands, Spain, etc.

The customers who are interested in upgrading to Vodafone 4G can visit Vodafone stores and selected retail outlets in the regions. Prior to the visit, they can check the compatibility of the SIM/device by sending an SMS <4GCHECK> to 199.

Besides Tamil Nadu, Vodafone SuperNet 4G is available in Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP East, UP West, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Assam & North East, Odisha, and Maharashtra circles.
