Airtel has launched its 4G services in Guwahati, announces the company. With this, four cities of Assam -- Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Tinsukia, and Guwahati – get Airtel 4G services. The customers in these cities can enjoy high-speed internet, thereby enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, fast uploading, downloading, etc. Airtel 4G services can be availed on a wide range of devices including smartphones, dongles, and hotspots. In Guwahati, the 4G services are rolled out using TD-LTE technology in the 2300 MHz band.
Commenting on the launch, Sameer Anjaria, CEO, Airtel North Eastern States and Assam said, “We are delighted to launch our 4G services in Guwahati. Our valued customers can now upgrade to 4G, free of cost and enjoy a high-speed mobile broadband experience on the India’s widest 4G network. Airtel 4G Offers in Guwahati
As a launch offer, the subscribers can avail 12 months free data worth up to Rs. 9000, if switched to Airtel 4G. ” The 12 months offer is available to both existing and new customers who upgrade to 4G.
The prepaid Airtel subscribers can get 3GB free data on Rs. 349 prepaid recharge in addition to the regular benefits. The first time free 3GB data benefit can be availed through MyAirtel app. The benefits are valid for 28 days and can be availed for a maximum of 13 recharges for a year (till 31 Dec 2017).
The 3GB free data is also offered to the postpaid customers via MyPlan Infinity plans. This is provided in addition to the other regular benefits. They can claim the free data through MyAirtel App. The offer will be available to customers across India from tomorrow and will close on February 28, 2017.

Besides this free 3GB data, Airtel is offering 1GB 3G/4G data at Rs. 146, 4GB 3G/4G data at Rs. 246 and 10GB 3G/4G data at Rs. 497. All these packs come with a validity of 28 days.
