OnePlus 3T Launched In India: Pricing, Specifications, Availability

OnePlus has finally made its much-talked about OnePlus 3T smartphone official in India. The upgraded version of OnePlus 3 has been priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 64GB internal storage variant and Rs. 34,999 for the 128GB internal storage variant. The phone will be exclusively up for sale via Amazon from December 14 (only the 128GB variant); the 64GB variant will go on sale later. The OnePlus 3T will be available in Gunmetal and Soft Gold colour options.

Regarding specifications, OnePlus 3T is an upgraded variant of the OnePlus 3 with enhancements in various sections such as camera, storage, battery, processor, and more. Other than these changes, the OnePlus 3T carries the same design and build as the OnePlus 3. It comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401ppi, Gorilla Glass 4 protection and anodised aluminium unibody just like the OnePlus 3. But, the OnePlus 3T is more powerful as it features 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, which is faster and efficient.

Commenting on the launch, Vikas Agarwal, OnePlus's General Manager for India said,"We are delighted to bring the much anticipated OnePlus 3T to India. Over the last two weeks, our fans in India have been writing to us to bring the phone to India, and we are glad we have been able to meet their demands. To delight our buyers even further, we will be shortly announcing a slew of offers to compliment the overall usage experience."

OnePlus 3T comes with a 16-megapixel front camera, which is integrated with Samsung 3P8SP sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 1080p video recording. There is a 16-megapixel rear camera onboard with the latest Sony IMX298 camera sensor, f/2.0 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), EIS, 720p video recording at 120fps, support for saving RAW image, and 4K video recording at 30fps. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS, but the Nougat update is on the way as claimed by the company. For connectivity, it supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE (Cat. 6), dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, USB 2.0 with Type-C port, Google Cast, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Bluetooth 4.2 (with LE), and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 3,400mAh battery backs the device with OnePlus’s in-house Dash Charge (5V, 4A) rapid charging technology.
