Lenovo PHAB 2 Plus with 6.4-inch 1080p display launched in India at Rs. 14,999 to rival Xiaomi’s Mi Max

After unveiling it at Tech World 2016 event in San Francisco in July, Lenovo has finally launched the PHAB 2 Plus smartphone for India. It is priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be exclusively up for sale via Amazon in Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold color options. The device will rival Xiaomi's Mi Max smartphone (phablet), which retails at the same pricing.

Coming on to the specs, the PHAB 2 Plus features 6.4-inch 1080p 2.5D Curved Glass display, dual 13MP rear cameras with Fujitsu Milbeaut ISPs, Laser AF, PDAF, LED flash, along with an 8MP selfie snapper. It comes powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT8783 chipset clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There is a 32GB internal storage onboard, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.

The Lenovo PHAB 2 Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Vibe UI on top. For connectivity, It supports Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. A 4050mAh battery backs the device. The phone also packs in other pre-loaded features such as Background Swap, Extreme Manual Settings, Refocus, Dolby Atmos with 5.1 Dolby Audio Capture, Triple Array Microphone with Active Noise-Cancellation, and Augmented-Reality special effects.
