Lenovo is all set to unveil K5 Note in India on August 1. Ahead of the launch, the company has teased about the RAM of the smartphone on its Twitter account.
“With so much RAM at your disposal, the only thing you’ll worry about on the #KillerNote5 is running out of apps” the tweet said. The smartphone is expected to come with a 4GB RAM instead of the 2GB anticipated earlier.
Lenovo K5 Note was earlier launched in China in January this year. From the launch in China, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display. Under the hood is a 1.8GHz MediaTek 64-bit Helio P10 octa-core processor paired with Mali-T860 GPU. There will be 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. However, there are speculations that the Indian launch may have Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box. The handset will also feature fingerprint scanner, placed below the camera module on the rear panel, Dolby Atmos powered speakers, and packs accelerometer, digital compass, proximity, and ambient light sensors.
In terms of camera, located on the rear of Lenovo K5 Note is a 13MP with dual-LED flash and in front, there is an 8MP snapper. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth. A 3,500 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support completes the package. In China, Lenovo K5 Note was priced at CNY 1,099 (approx. Rs. 11,350) for its 2GB RAM variant.
