Note: Do cross check with BSNL before opting the plan.

BSNL Fibre plans has always received criticism for being too expensive and providing slow post FUP speeds. Only recently BSNL introduced a similar FTTH Broadband plan Fibro Combo ULD 2490 in Odisha circle. When comparing to the earlier plan, Fibro Combo ULD 1045 is almost 2.5x cheaper and offer Fibre speed of 40Mbps and post FUP speed of 4Mbps.

Yet again BSNL introduce good plans only for selected SSAs of Andhra Pradesh circle, thanks to the local broadband players like ACT Broadband which compete BSNL by offering affordable fibre broadband plans. As with other circle/SSA specific plans, BSNL has stated that the above plan is only offered in those locations where there is a matching competition from private operators.

Do you think it is fair play by BSNL to only offer good broadband plans where there is a matching competition from private players?
