Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has introduced new FTTH broadband plan named Fibro Combo ULD 2490 exclusive for Odisha circle offering higher download speed and increased FUP limit. The new broadband plans will for 90 days as promotional offer with effect from May 18, 2016.
FTTH broadband plan Fibro Combo ULD 2490 offer higher broadband speed 10 Mbps and increased FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit of 100GB. However, despite being a Fibre broadband plan, post FUP speed is limited to just 512 Kbps. The plans also offer unlimited free calls between 9 PM to 7 AM to any network in India. Customer can also opt for Annual payment option by making advance payment for one, two and three years.

The new FTTH broadband plan from BSNL is part of its strategy to introduce SSA/Circle specific broadband plans to counter competition from local broadband players in the region. The plan will be available across Odisha circle for all broadband users. However, FTTH broadband service of BSNL is limited to few locations and not available at all SSAs in the circle.
