Former Alcatel-Lucent executive Srini Sundararajan joins Samsung as India head of network biz

Former India and South Asia business head of Alcatel-Lucent--now acquired by Nokia--Srini Sundararajan has been appointment as the Head of Network Business at Samsung India Electronics Ltd (SIEL). Sundararajan will be in charge of managing operations and further developing business opportunities of Samsung's mobile network business in Southwest Asia.

Sundararajan is a recognised leader in the industry for his immense knowledge of the mobile network sector, with 30 years of experience in various jobs such as R&D, product management.




Sundararajan, at Alcatel-Lucent, had contributed significantly towards business profitability, market development and organizational management.

“We are very glad to announce Srini's appointment and wish him success in his new role. Srini is well experienced and we are expecting his contribution to strengthen Samsung's mobile network business,” said Youngky Kim, President & Head of Network at Samsung Electronics.

“With Srini, Samsung will continue to expand its business in Southwest Asia, one of the fastest growing markets in the industry," Kim said.

Samsung said that is leadership and expertise will be a valuable asset to the company's network business.
