The Street View app will replace the Photo Sphere Camera app for iPhones and the Street View from Google Maps app on Android phones.

Exploring with Street View is pretty straightforward. It allows users to browse Street View collections and content from Google Maps alongside photo spheres contributed by other users around the world. Moreover, users can now publish photo spheres of their favorite places to Google Maps almost instantly.

According to information published on Google Blogspot, the new 'Explore' feature will allow users to explore Street View collections and content from Google Maps alongside photo spheres contributed by people around the globe.

You can now download Street View app on Google Maps for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.2 and upwards. For iOS users, the application can be downloaded for free via the App Store by Apple. It should work smoothly on all iOS devices running iOS 7.0 or later.
