Xiaomi has already achieved the celebrity status with its device like the Mi 3 and the Redmi 1S. It has seized a major chunk of the smartphone market after becoming both famous and infamous for its flash sales. Xiaomi is steadily closing in the gap when it comes to total smartphone shipments.

Xiaomi MiPad 9.2

The rumors have shed light on a new screen grab of a GFXBench listing which shows that Xiaomi is testing a tablet with a 9.2-inch HD screen. Codenamed as Xiaomi 2014811, the tablet is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor along with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It hints towards just 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. It is expected to run Android 4.4.4 KitKat and plays host to the usual bunch of connectivity options.

It is still unclear if this tablet supports voice calling facility and if it does we are sure that it has enough grunts to disrupt the tablet markets. We feel that this tablet will be accompanied by a smaller 7 inch sized version as well.
