The device is not really a 'Mini' device but more like a cut-down version of the Desire 820. It measures 150.1 x 72.7 x 9.6mm and weighs 162 grams which makes it wider and taller than some of the other 5- inchers out there. It has a 5-inch 720p display and gets front-facing speakers which contribute to the majority of the bezels.

Powering it is a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system. The has internal storage capacity is 8GB which can be expanded using a microSD card slot. It has a 8-megapixel camera at the rear and 5-megapixel unit at the front. It is a dual-SIM smartphone with LTE connectivity. The website showcased that its price was CNY 1400 which translates to around Rs. 14,000.

But with the likes of Xiaomi and OnePlus expanding their operations globally, HTC might find it a bit harder to get the device a lot of takers.
