Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to be available in stores from October 17 in India

Samsung India has sent out media invites for a launch event Galaxy Note 4 on October 15 and is expected to be available for purchase in stores from the 17th of October. The Galaxy Note 4 was unveiled early last month during the pre-IFA 2014 event along with Galaxy Note Edge and the Gear VR virtual-reality headset. The pricing details of the Galaxy Note 4 in India could be announced during its launch on October 15.

The Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, 64-bit octa-core Exynos 5433 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, microSD card slot (up to 128GB), and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The device features a 16-megapixel primary camera with OIS and 4K video recording. Its front-facing camera has a resolution of 3.7-megapixels and F/1.9 aperture wide-angle lens. It features 4G LTE connectivity (1800MHz), dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v4.0, DLNA, NFC, IR Port, and a 3,220 mAh battery.

It would compete with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, LG G3, Nokia Lumia 1520, and the Sony Xperia Z3 when it launches in India.
