BSNL , the largest service provider of wired landline services in India has just revised its fixed monthly charges for the plans on offer on a pan India basis. The tariffs have been revised for rural and urban areas. Let us take a look at what BSNL has revised:
Rural General Plan:
- The existing monthly tariff of Rs 70/month has been revised to Rs 90/month but that is followed by an increase in the free calls to BSNL network from the current 75 to 90.
Economy Plan:
- The existing monthly tariff of Rs 300/month has been revised to Rs 330/month but there is no increase in the number of free calls and you still get 225 metered call units after the revised tariffs (to all other networks).
Special Plan:
- The existing monthly tariff of Rs 425/month has been revised to Rs 450/month and the number of free metered call units remains the same at 400 (to all other networks).
All the revised tariffs will come into effect from 1st October 2014.
