IDEA has launched two tariff plans offering all local calls at 40 paisa per minute, STD at 60 paisa per minute and another plan offering all local and STD calls at just 1 paisa per second.
Mobile consumers in Karnataka can choose from a wide bouquet of new tariff plans being introduced by IDEA Cellular. As per the new plan, subscribers can make Local calls at just 40 paisa per minute, and STD at 60 paisa per minute on any other mobile and landline network in the country.
To avail ‘Super Saral’ plan, new IDEA prepaid subscribers can do their first recharge with either purchase for Rs. 44 or Rs. 94 tariff voucher, This would include talktime and free promotional local SMSes. The two vouchers come with a tariff validity of One Year.
IDEA’s ‘Per Second’ tariff plan will offer all Local and STD calls on any network in India, at the lowest tariff of 1 paisa per second. New IDEA subscribers can avail the per second plan by purchasing ‘Super Seconds’ voucher for Rs. 47, 97 and Rs 196, This would include talktime and free promotional local SMSes and comes with a tariff validity of One Year .
In yet another initiative, Idea has launched VTOP-UP Recharge process which will enable Idea roaming subscribers in Karnataka with a seamless recharge facility of their choice.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Rakesh Singh, Circle Head – Karnataka, IDEA Cellular said, “With the the new ‘Super Saral’ and Super Second Plan, IDEA subscribers in Karnataka will get the lowest call tariffs in the country. Mobile users can now use their mobile phones with absolute freedom without worrying about time or geography. I am confident that this will redefine mobile telephony services in the state, and drive penetration deeper in the market.”
‘Per Second’ and ‘40p/min’ packs will be available in over 10000 towns and villages of Karnataka at all retail outlets, My Idea Showrooms and Idea Points.
