MTS India is leaving from Mumbai, Maharastra & Goa and Uttar Pradesh East, another CDMA player Reliance Communications has brought attractive offerings for existing MTS MBlaze users in Maharastra & Goa circle.
RCom, which has wide CDMA coverage including 122+ towns in Maharastra is now asking MTS MBlaze users to join Reliance HSD/EVDO network at nominal price. MTS users have to return MTS dongle, and will get free dongle if he recharges with STV899 which includes 10GB high speed data. Customers will also get double data benefits for next 90 days.
Note that it is still not confirmed whether this plan is applicable to both MTS Mbrowse (1X, upto 153.6 kbps) or MTS MBlaze (EVDO rev A upto 3.1Mbps) type of dongles. But I think it's for both users. However the plan is quite attractive tap data customers from leaving MTS in MH-Goa circle. It is best deal for high end users who recharge more than Rs 500 per month on MTS HSD network.
