MTNL Launches Unlimited 3G Data Plan for Rs. 750 in Mumbai
In an attempt to triggering another price war in 3G Mobile Broadband segment in Mumbai telecom circle, India’s first 3G Mobile service operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), today announced the launch of 2 new Unlimited 3G Data Plans and revised exiting Limited Plan-2500 for its subscribers in Mumbai circle.
MTNL slashes the 3G Unlimited Data Plan cost up to 58% and introduced bucket of new 3G offers including Unlimited Prepaid/Postpaid Advance Rental/Payment Plans.With the launch of new 3G recharges/plan now the Unlimited 3G Data Plan will effectively cost at just Rs.750 per month with advance rental plan for Home and Roam usage.
MTNL Mumbai introduces new “Advance Rental Unlimited 3G Data Plan” and with the Plan-4500, the effective cost of Unlimited 3G Data Downloads will be as low as Rs. 750/month. The new new 3G Data plan for Rs. 4500 comes with the validity of 180 days and provide Unlimited Free High Speed wireless Broadband 24×7 anywhere in India (Home and Roam).
MTNL Mumbai also introduces one New Monthly Unlimited 3G Data Plan 1650 offers Unlimited 3G Data usage for 30 Days.
Apart from above tariff plan MTNL Mumbai also rationalized its Existing 3G Data Plan-2500, Now it comes with Unlimited Downloads/Uploads and Valid for 60 Days (Earlier the it was offering 25 GB for 30 Days).
However Initially a data cap of 200 GB per month shall be placed in Unlimited Plans, But if any customer exceeds the usage, the excess charges will be waived off so over all its “True Unlimited 3G”. FOR NEW TRUMP CUSTOMER:
•Purchase any SIM Kit and ensure a talk value of at least Rs.475/ – by charging with RCV.
•Activate HSDPA service by sending SMS ‘ACT HSDPA’ to ’444′.
•Activation charges of Rs.449/- will be deducted from prepaid account. On insufficient balance, customer needs to recharge to maintain the balance of Rs.475/- and send the ACT message again.
•After HSDPA activation,customer will get 449 MB free for 1 month and life time HSDPA validity
•The data charge is fixed at Rs.1/MB(pulse rate is 1ps/10KB) in MTNL home n/w only.
•While in national roaming a tariff of 1p/10KB will be applicable for data usages.
•A minimum balance of Rs.25/- is required to be maintained for availing HSDPA facility.
•The customer can maintain minimum balance requirement by using Top up vouchers.
•If the customer fails to maintain a minimum balance of Rs.25,HSDPA facility will be barred.
•Recharge with any of the data vouchers as per Table ‘A’ in Annexure for increased data download requirements.

do we have to pay extra charges i called them up and asked they told there is no limit
and if we have to pay can you plz tell how much is the excess charges

i just want to know whether the 3g activated will work on roaming or not…
