agreed with @altaf .. Mine MTNL 3G speed also never crossed 0.50Mbps in Kalyan- Dombivili & Panvel area..Even while in BSNL 3G network of Maharashtra circle with mine MTNL 3G Sim I have not got more than 0.50Mbps speed…But in BSNL 3G area if I use BSNL 3G Sim then I get above 1mbps speed..

What many people are not aware about MTNL SIMs is that 3G speeds are capped upto 450 kbps. In order to enjoy higher speeds upto 3.6Mbps on MTNL 3G Network it is necessary to enable HSDPA on your SIM by paying Rs.449.(Lifetime HSDPA Validity).
This is not the case with BSNL 3G.

whether it is true?? and whether we have to do e -recharge of Rs.449 to avail 3.6 Mbps speed!!

  • Suresh May 18, 2011 3:53 pm

Unlimited for Rs.750, proportionally if they reduced at-least 1 gb for 100 rs will be good,
