Xiaomi India Sold Over 5 Lakh Mi TVs in Six Months

Xiaomi, the Chinese Internet company has announced that it has sold more than 5 lakh (500,000) Mi LED TVs in India in over six months. So far, Xiaomi has launched three Mi TVs in India, and the company has stated half a million Mi TVs including Mi LED TV 4, Mi LED TV 4A 32-inch and Mi LED TV 4A 43-inch sold across mi.com, Flipkart.com and Mi Homes. This achievement marks an industry first and is a key milestone for Xiaomi India, said the company in a press statement. Very recently, Xiaomi has stated that its Mi LED TVs became the most rated TVs on Flipkart with over 100,000 ratings and have garnered a lot of love from users across India.

"This quantum of customer ratings is unheard of, for the TV category in the online space and proves that Xiaomi is not just a leading Smart TV brand but also the leading TV brand in the online space, added Xiaomi India.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 Price in India, Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is the world's thinnest LED TV at just 4.9mm slim and it comes with Xiaomi's custom PatchWall software, which according to the company is completely redesigned from the ground up for India. The Mi TV 4 was initially launched at a price of Rs 39,999, but later on, the price has been bumped to Rs 44,999.

After the Mi TV 4's launch in India, Xiaomi brought two more TVs to the country- the Mi TV 4A 43-inch and the Mi TV 4A 32-inch models. Extending the India-specific customisations, the Mi LED TV 4A series also features display panels that are optimised for use in India.

The Mi TV 4A 43-inch model has been priced at Rs 22,999, while the 32-inch model is retailing for Rs 13,999. Both the models are exclusive to Flipkart and Mi.com. They can also be picked up from Mi Home offline stores. The Mi TV 4A series is currently available for purchase via open sale on both Flipkart and Mi.com. Xiaomi announced the open sale very recently, however, the demand for the Mi TV 4 is still high, which means that users have to settle down with the flash sales.
