Vodafone has revised its unlimited combo prepaid plans with the Live TV subscription offering. Vodafone's Prepaid SuperPlans which start at a price of Rs 179 and goes up to Rs 799 now comes with free Vodafone Live TV subscription. For the unaware, Vodafone has its own Live TV service under the app named Vodafone Play, and it's currently free for all the Vodafone subscribers until June 30, 2018. Post that, Vodafone will be bundling the service with its prepaid and postpaid plans. Maybe that could be the reason the telco has started bundling the service with its prepaid plans, while the Vodafone RED postpaid plans are already offering free Vodafone Play subscription on a monthly basis.

As per the available data, Vodafone will be bundling the Vodafone Play service with its prepaid plans starting at Rs 179 and going up to Rs 799. The eligible plans on the list are Rs 179, Rs 199, Rs 255, Rs 349, Rs 399, Rs 458, Rs 509, Rs 511, Rs 549, Rs 569 and Rs 799. Other user-specific unlimited prepaid combo plans will also be eligible for the free Vodafone Play Subscription.

Back in March 2018, Vodafone announced that it's making the Vodafone Play application free to every subscriber until June 30, 2018, and the deadline is approaching now. Bharti Airtel also announced the same deadline, but the free service recently got extended until December 31, 2018. But that doesn't seem to be the case with Vodafone, thanks to the service bundling with the prepaid tariff plans.

Aforesaid, Vodafone's wide-range of postpaid plans starting at Rs 399 comes with free Vodafone Play subscription for 12 months. The postpaid bundling has been there for many months and the same has been now extended to prepaid plans too. Idea Cellular is also offering its digital content services free to its subscribers. Vodafone Play app currently offers more than 300 live TV channels across various Indian languages.

The Digital Content war between the telecom operators is heating this year and Airtel, Vodafone has managed to give some competition to Reliance Jio. The Mukesh Ambani-led telco is offering its entire range of digital content free to its subscribers. Jio subscribers are getting JioPlay, JioCinema, JioMusic and so on free with the tariff plans. Now, Vodafone has joined the same train.
