The device has got a cut above features as compared to its predecessor. The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based device has 5.25-inch HD display. There is no announcement about the price. However, it is certain that the smartphone will come out at higher price as compared to the previous generation. Expect a price of about Rs 20,000-22,000 when it gets launched in India which should be early next year.
Here are the key features of the phone-
Display-. 5.25-inch HD (1280×720 pixels), 720p TFT display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen eventhough not something out of the ordinary, is a big upgrade from its previous generation.

Processor, Chipset and RAM- 1.2GHz quad-core processor, unknown chipset and a 1.5GB of RAM. The processor is also a good upgrade over the last generation as well but we would have loved a 2GB RAM.
Memory– It comes with 8GB of internal memory and an expandable memory of up to 64GB via a microSD card.
Camera– It will come shod with an 8-megapixel rear camera with features like autofocus, LED Flash and 1080p video recording, and a 2-megapixel front camera for video chats and self shots.

Operting System– It will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and Samsung might just give the Android 4.4 Kitkat treatment as well.
Other Features– It features all the Samsung’s software gimmicks like Samsung apps like ChatON, Samsung Hub, S Health, Group Play, S Travel, S Translator, Samsung Link and Story Album.
There is no accompanying stylus with the device . Samsung has not chosen to roll out the new device in bright and dazzling colors. Hence, you will see the new Galaxy Grand 2 in color options of white, black and pink color. We are waiting for further word on pricing as well as availability of the device. It seems that the Galaxy Grand successor will not hit the market before the start of the next year but when it does, it surely will repeat the success the Grand Duos saw.
