Reliance Jio has announced Jio AI Glasses. The Jio AI Glasses were showcased at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026. This is a new generation of smart glasses from Reliance which are made for consumers to live a more convenient life. The Jio AI Glasses will let users do three things which will make their lives super easy – make UPI payments, get live language translation, and stay in a cricket game on the go with live cricket commentary.

Jio AI Glasses to Support UPI with Scan and Pay Feature
Reliance Jio said that users will be able to pay directly through the Jio AI Glasses by just looking at the QR code and giving a voice command. There will also be an AI voice assistant and support for multiple Indian languages so it is truly a product for everyone. The new AI glasses from Jio will also be able to support live translation, AI note-taking, and live cricket commentary.
However, the standout feature has to be Scan and Pay through the smart glasses. The rules suggest that a maximum payment of Rs 5,000 can be made through the glasses in a single transaction, and the monthly limit is Rs 15,000. The rules are not set by Jio, but are according to the UPI Circle rules. Another major feature supported by the Jio AI Glasses is Live Translation.
With Live Translation, two people speaking different languages will be able to understand each other with the help of wearable devices. You can speak in your language and the other person can speak in theirs. The AI will handle the entire translation. Jio is showcasing these products at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026, taking place at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center, Dwarka. Anyone can visit the exhibition and check out these products.
