Diving into the specifications of the smartphone, the Eluga I5 comes with a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The display has a 2.5D curved glass on top and there's Asahi Dragontrail protection. Optics in the device include a 13MP rear snapper with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, and LED flash. Panasonic has added a 5MP selfie camera in the smartphone which comes with a 3P lens.

The Panasonic Eluga I5 also comes with a fingerprint sensor placed at the back of the phone, and sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor are present in the device. The device weighs 145grams and measures 143x71x7.5mm. This phone competes with Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Redmi Y1 which are available with much better specs in the same price range.
