The Panasonic Eluga I5 will most likely be exclusive to Flipkart and carries a price tag of Rs. 8,990. The listing also revealed the complete spec-sheet of the Eluga I5 and they're underwhelming. The sad part is that the Eluga I5 is listed with a 2500mAh battery. The Eluga I5 will probably be the only smartphone with a 2500mAh battery in the said price bracket.

Diving into the specifications of the smartphone, the Eluga I5 comes with a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The display has a 2.5D curved glass on top and there's Asahi Dragontrail protection. Thankfully, this dual-SIM smartphone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB port for charging and data transfer, and USB OTG. This entire package is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

Optics in the device include a 13MP rear snapper with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, and LED flash. Panasonic has added a 5MP selfie camera in the smartphone which comes with a 3P lens.

The Panasonic Eluga I5 also comes with a fingerprint sensor placed at the back of the phone, and sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor are present in the device. The device weighs 145grams and measures 143x71x7.5mm. This phone competes with Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Redmi Y1 which are available with much better specs in the same price range.
