OnePlus has just revealed that it collaborated with Reliance Jio to validate the 5G network slicing on the OnePlus Nord 4. The OnePlus Nord 4 5G was released a few months back and it is the best Nord device sold by the company to date. Since Reliance Jio has deployed 5G SA (standalone architecture) throughout India, it is the perfect partner for OnePlus. The test was successfully conducted and this was done on the recently launched 5G innovation lab in India.

During the test, the core network and the chip module from Reliance Jio were connected to the OnePlus Nord 4. The successful test results validate the 5G capabilities of both Jio's network and the OnePlus Nord 4 5G.
During the demonstration, different applications on the OnePlus Nord 4 5G could get access to dedicated network slices for an enhanced 5G experience. This would be a major feature for when users are engaged in gaming and require a dedicated network slice which is tuned to deliver high-bandwidth and ultra-low latencies.
