Following the successful launch of the OnePlus 11 5G in India back in February, the tech giant from Shenzhen is already gearing up for its next flagship, the OnePlus 12. Although the official launch date remains undisclosed, a reliable tipster, Max Jambor (@MaxJmb), suggests that the OnePlus 12 will be unveiled in global markets, including India, in January 2024. Initially, there were speculations about a February launch, but now it seems the company has expedited its plans.




While OnePlus has yet to confirm the exact timeline for the OnePlus 12's release, these rumours should be taken with a grain of caution. However, some specifications of the upcoming handset have already leaked, and they certainly look promising.

The phone is likely to boast 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a capacious 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Camera enthusiasts will be excited to hear about the Hasselblad-branded triple-camera setup on the OnePlus 12, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. On the front, you can expect a 32-megapixel selfie camera nestled within a hole punch cutout on the display.

The device is also rumoured to feature an alert slider, a signature OnePlus component, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure authentication. But looking back at the OnePlus 11 5G, which debuted with a price tag of Rs 56,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant and Rs 61,999 for the 16GB + 256GB storage variant, it's safe to say that the OnePlus 12 will be another exciting addition to the OnePlus lineup.
