MTNL Mumbai Intros “Independence Day” Special Recharge

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), today announced the launch of  ‘Independence Day Special Recharge’ for its ‘Trump’ prepaid service subscribers (2G and 3G) to commemorate the 64th Independence Day in Mumbai telecom circle.

MTNL introduces 2 ‘Independence Day’ special E-Recharge, priced at Rs 64 and Rs.1508. The RC-64 stands for India’s 64th Independence Day celebration while other RC-1508 stands for 15th August.

RC 64 enables its customer to enjoy full talk time of Rs.64. While RC-1508 which comes at Rs.1508 provides hyper talk time of Rs.1947 as a main balance.

Earlier the similar offer was launched in Delhi circle as we shared on TelecomTalk. Here are the details-:

Note:  

1.The above recharge will be available only for 6 days from 14th to 20th Aug 2011 and will be available as Web /E-Recharge and flexi recharge from retailers and MTNL CSS across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane.

Lat year same plan was introduced by MTNL for his valued subscribers now again same plan on Independence day. Need something more as per the public demand. only talktime will never attract to us. Need to think more innovative.
Nice efforts to grab more revenue from MTNL management who yet not appointed Full time CMD, I think this post is operated by Private ops may Be Mittal or Birla or Ambani.

What selvam says is right. Because I was travelling to Ooty from Mettupalaiyam by HILL TRAIN (N M R). BSNL got 3 to 5 bars (out of 5) even inside DENSE forests of Nilgiris. I really do not know how. May be using GSM via satellite.

Building a house in the mountaineous forest area itself is not a easy job (getting clearance from forest authority, corporation etc). Then think of mobile towers. BSNL – really great (in terms of coverage).
