Motorola will release the Moto E5 and E5 Plus smartphones this year. We don’t have much information about the Moto E5 Plus at the moment, but it is rumoured that Motorola will not launch it alongside the Moto E5. Also, the Bluetooth SIG page reveals the design description of the Moto E5 as ‘Qualcomm BT Host SW,’ meaning the phone may arrive Snapdragon SoC inside. The Moto E5 already received Wi-Fi certification.

Last year, Motorola disappointed everyone by opting MediaTek chipsets to power the Moto E4 series but seems like the company is going with Snapdragon variants this year. But the chipset is unknown at the moment. Motorola should at least use Snapdragon 435 SoC on the smartphones.
