Homegrown smartphone brand, Karbonn is trying to make itself busy these days. After launching a selfie-centric smartphone, the Karbonn K9 Smart earlier this month, the company is now gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India, dubbed as Karbonn Yuva 2. The smartphone will be announced in the coming days, but ahead of the launch, complete specifications are leaked online

While the company has already started teasing about the smartphone on social media platform Twitter, folks at BGR India managed to grab the specifications of the smartphone from the company's website as the product page went live already. That said, the price of the Karbonn Yuva 2 is yet to be revealed by the company, which will happen on the launch day itself.

The Karbonn Yuva 2 will be available in three colours- black, blue and champagne. Talking about the Yuva 2, it sports a polycarbonate body with a brushed metallic finish at the back. At the front the phone, there's a 5-inch HD display, which is followed by three capacitive buttons at the bottom.

At the back of the phone, there's a rear camera with an LED flashlight. The device will be powered by a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.25GHz. The chipset is clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.

Cameras in the Karbonn Yuva 2 include a 5MP sensor at the back, along with a 3.2MP front-facing camera. Sadly, the front-facing camera doesn't have support for an LED flashlight, but the rear camera comes aided with a single-tone flashlight.

Software side of things, the Yuva 2 boots Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, thankfully. All the standard connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-SIM, and micro USB are listed on the company's website. This entire package is backed by a 2500mAh battery, which is underwhelming.

The Karbonn Yuva 2 will go official anytime in the coming days and expect it to be priced aggressively. If Karbonn manages to place this smartphone between Rs 4000 and Rs 5000, it will grab some attention from the crowd.
