Idea Launches 3G In Bangalore and MysoreIDEA Cellular today launched its 3G mobile services in Bangalore and Mysore.

With this launch IDEA customers can experience speed upto 21Mbps on 3G handsets. IDEA has mutually signed an Intra Circle Roaming agreement with AIRTEL to provide 3G services to its Idea customers.




IDEA 3G Customers can enjoy video calls, Mobile Tv, idea mall application, Video on demand, Video conferencing and High speed mobile broadband with ease.

To Activate 3G service customer need to send sms ACT3G to 12345 or by dialing *147#(Toll Free) after sending the sms the confirmation Sms will come stating 2G data plan will be deactivated post which customer will be in "Pay As you go" plan.

For settings customer need to send sms as SET To 12345(Toll Free) and save the settings as default.customer can chose various plan starting Rs 55 in postpaid and Rs 8 in prepaid.

Video call charges at 2ps/sec for both local and std numbers.Roaming outgoing @5ps/sec , roaming incoming 2ps/sec. ISD as per the base tariff.

As a promotional offer idea is giving double free data usage on data packs both in prepaid and postpaid. To know more customer can reach customer care number.
