Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, the state owned telco has introduced various data add-on plans for its postpaid users. These data add-on plans will get the postpaid subscribers with limited or unlimited data, which will be applicable over their existing plans. In case the subscribers feel that they are getting insufficient data in their postpaid plans, then they can upgrade their data for a month using these postpaid add-on plans. Below we discuss the details of the limited and unlimited data add-on offers by BSNL.
Unlimited Data Add-On Packs
The telecom operator also has unlimited data add-on packs that bring unlimited internet access with FUP limits. These plans offer high-speed internet for a specified data limit and post limit the speed drops to lower bandwidth.
BSNL’s Rs 240 data add-on brings unlimited internet along with 3.5GB of high-speed data access. Post FUP limit usage, the speed drops down to 80 Kbps. Next is the company Rs 340 plan which offers 5.5GB of high-speed internet and the speed is reduced to 80kbps once again after exhausting the data.
Then there’s Rs 666 BSNL add-on pack that comes with unlimited internet and 11GB of FUP limit. The Rs 901 data add-on pack comes with 20GB of 3G high-speed internet while the Rs 1711 pack brings 30GB of additional data. Post FUP usage speed of all these three plans is 128 Kbps.
Limited Data Add-On Packs
BSNL has limited data add-on packs that offer data ranging from 0.5GB to as high as 16GB. For starters, BSNL has Rs 50 monthly add-on pack that comes with 550MB data and post usage charges are 1p/10KB. Next is the Rs 75 monthly rental plan that offers 1500MB data and post the usage charges are once again Rs 1p/10KB.
The Rs 170 data add-on pack gets to 2.2GB of high-speed internet valid for a period of one month while Rs 225 data pack bring customers 4.2GB of internet data per month. There’s a Rs 290 pack which offers users 9GB of high-speed data with a validity of one month.
Those with higher data requirements can opt for data add-on packs starting at Rs 501 and Rs 549. While postpaid customers get 12GB of internet data with the former plan, they get 16GB of data with later. Post usage charges for all these limited data plans is 1p/10KB.
Do make a note that BSNL is still offering 3G services in the country, so no BSNL 4G at the moment.
