Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been at its best when it comes to the broadband segment. The leading wired broadband service provider has now introduced four new non-FTTH plans starting at Rs 99 and the highlight of these plans is they come with daily data benefit, same as the unlimited prepaid combo plans offered by telcos these days. BSNL has introduced Rs 99, Rs 199, Rs 299 and Rs 399 BBG ULD Combo broadband plans with data benefit ranging from 45GB to 600GB. All the four plans offer 20 Mbps data speed until the daily FUP, post which the speed will be reduced to 1 Mbps. Also, these plans do offer unlimited voice calling benefit to any network across the country. Do make a note that these plans have been introduced on a pan-India basis and promotional basis too, meaning they’ll be valid only for 90 days from the date of introduction. BSNL stated that these plans are not valid in Andaman & Nicobar telecom circle.

Lastly, BSNL has come up with two more plans with data benefit of 300GB and 600GB for a monthly rental of Rs 299 and Rs 399. They also offer 20 Mbps data speed, but up to 10GB per day and 20GB per day. After the completion of FUP, download speed will be reduced to 1 Mbps and will be restored once the clock ticks 12 AM in the midnight.
Do make a note that the data speed of 20 Mbps will be limited to the daily FUP and users can download as much as they can with the post FUP speed of 1 Mbps and there’s no limit for the same. BSNL also offers one free email ID and 1GB of storage space.
As mentioned, these are promotional plans valid for 90 days from the date of introduction, but BSNL might extend them if the demand for these plans is high. The company also confirmed that old users could not migrate to these plans because they’ve introduced aiming new users in mind. Also, a security deposit amount of Rs 500 will be collected from every new customer. Here comes the major part: after six months, users will be forced to migrate onto another broadband plan, which will be discussed at the time of migration.
