BSNL is the largest wired broadband service provider in India, beating other players such as Airtel, ACT Fibernet and so on hands down. Now Jio is aiming to take that crown from BSNL with its high-speed Jio GigaFiber services. To take on Jio, BSNL has unveiled a slew of entry-level broadband plans starting at just Rs 99. Yes, you heard it right, BSNL has launched four new plans of Rs 99, Rs 199, Rs 299 and Rs 399, and with these plans, it’s giving daily data, something we haven’t seen in the past. All the four plans offer broadband speeds of 20 Mbps, and they come with a varied daily data limit. The Rs 99 broadband plan offers 45GB of data (spread as 1.5GB data per day), while the Rs 399 gives a user 600GB of monthly FUP.

Also, these plans offer unlimited voice calls, like various other plans in BSNL’s portfolio. Another best part is users across the country can opt these plans, subjected if BSNL is offering broadband services in that particular location. Furthermore, the plans have been introduced on a promotional basis, which means that they’ll expire after 90 days from the date of introduction. BSNL stated that these plans are not valid in Andaman & Nicobar telecom circle.
