Finnish giant HMD Global is all set to launch its latest smartphone under the Nokia banner in India. The Nokia 7.1 in India takes forward the line-up of the Nokia 7 series. It’s unknown which smartphone is HMD planning to launch at its October 11 event in India, but it will likely be the Nokia 7.1. This new phone comes with an upgraded processor, display compared to the Nokia 7, and offers better bang for the buck. The phone undoubtedly comes with Nokia’s feel all over it as it comes with Zeiss Optics lens, clean stock Android with Android One certification and the familiar design. However, the striking feature of the phone is the presence of the notch on the phone. If you are someone who wants to get their hands on a phone which comes with a clean interface and Nokia’s resilient build quality, then here are the top 5 features of this device which you must check out.

Display
The Nokia 7.1 features a 5.84-inch IPS display panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio screen with a resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels. The phone also comes with a notch, and there is also the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection over the screen. However, the one thing which is the real highlight of this phone when it comes to display is the HDR support. The Nokia 7.1 comes with PureDisplay technology which is something that smartphone brands have kept reserved for higher-end smartphones. However, with the Nokia 7.1 HMD Global will be offering an HDR display at a mid-range price point.
Performance
For processing prowess, the Nokia 7.1 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with Adreno 509 GPU. This setup comes with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM depending on the variant you choose. While the 3GB variant comes with 32GB of storage, the 4GB one comes with 64GB of storage. Users will also be able to expand their storage using a hybrid microSD card slot, which will allow expansion up to 400GB.
