@Sameer – you are correct Windows Mobile OS need less resources than Crappy Android. I have a Lumia 720 with 512 MB RAM works smoothly and no lag, no hang. Good OS. If you have Outlook account, you can sync files between devices.

Why you say Android is crap? It helped millions to own an affordable smartphone. Windows OS is not free. It is Proprietary.

1. Android is utterly crappy if you do not take moral issues into account 😛 . And dude, this is not 2010, it’s 2015. Just so you know, Windows Phone OS became free from April 2014 but it is not open-source (I hope you know what “open-source” means).

2. You can get a Windows Phone powered mobile phone for INR 3200 having a Snapdragon quad-core processor and 512 MB RAM. Check the e-commerce sites and you’ll get more such devices. Isn’t that price point affordable?

Open source Android always gets better and not stuck like windows. And it’s free only in India. Choice of models is very limited on windows OS where as You can find a sea of Android phones from every manufacturer suiting all type of budgets and requirements.
Not enough apps on windows OS. Lack of innovation .

@Sunil

1- Windows Phone never gets stuck
2- Windows is free everywhere, what phone vendor asks to install windows on phones for a charge?
3-Choice is limited because manufacturers cannot skin it unlike android, where Android KitKat will look different on different phones. Windows will be the same on a 50k phone as well as 3k phones* features may vary that’s it
4-All the important apps are present. More apps joining with the release of Windows 10 Mobile
