Apple’s iPhone 17 series will come with four iPhones. But these won’t be the same four devices you have been seeing for the last four years. Apple is likely going to introduce a new kind of an iPhone, and it is being rumoured online that it will be very thin. According to Apple Hub, Apple is going to bring a new iPhone “Slim” for customers across the world. This will be the first time that Apple will introduce a “Slim” iPhone. However, it will come at the cost of the regular “Plus” model of the iPhones.
Thus, iPhone 16 Plus could be the last “Plus” iPhone from the brand. In a similar fashion, Apple removed the iPhone “mini” from the iPhone 14 series.

So the four iPhones in the iPhone 17 series would be iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Slim, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. However, the Slim iPhone will not feature a Pro chip and yet cost more than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to cost $1299 while the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to cost $1199. The iPhone 17 Slim would be an interesting device as it is expected to come with a 6.6-inch display while the iPhone 17 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch and iPhone 17 Pro Max will feature a 6.9-inch display.

The iPhone 17 series is expected to launch in September 2025. We are quite far from that, however, the possibility of a new slim iPhone does sound exciting. Apple is expected to roll out invites for the iPhone 16 series launch event in late August or early September. It will be interesting to see what’s in store this time.
