According to a tip from the Digital Chat Station, BBK-owned Vivo and Oppo are working on a new foldable that will feature a battery of up to 6000mAh and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. This will be a major leap in the battery technology for OnePlus and the consumers as this would extend the usage time of the device by quite a bit.

The OnePlus Open introduced last year carries a 4,805mAh battery with support for 67W charging. The OnePlus Open 2 is not expected to launch anytime soon, and will likely make it to the market only in the next year.
