Aircel, one of India’s leading telecom service providers, today strengthened its position in the UP (East) circle by launching four new exciting products and expanding its network by more than 300 new sites. The company announced the effort for its growing customer base in UP (East), as Aircel added more than 1 million customers in UP (East) in the last one year, owing to its products that offer the best value-for-money, a robust network and its aggressive drive for fuelling mobile data consumption in the country.

Delivering on its commitment to offer the most affordable products and services, Aircel has introduced a host of rate cutter packs ranging from Rs. 6 to Rs. 39 in UP (East). The new rate cutter packs are aimed at providing Aircel customers with maximum affordability for local and STD calling, thereby offering them the best value for money. Additionally, Aircel will be deploying close to 300 new sites across the UP (East) circle in the next few months to cater to its growing customer base, apart from the 3,544 sites that it already has in the circle.
Commenting on the occasion, Prabhat Aggarwal, Regional Manager – Central, Aircel, said, “A market where one-fourth of our customer base is students, UP (East) becomes naturally a very important circle for a youth oriented brand like Aircel. Our efforts in providing our customers with innovative and affordable products in this market have continued to pay off well, and we’re delighted to have added more than 1 million customers to our network in UP (East) in the last one year. At Aircel, our steadfast endeavor has been to catch the pulse of the customer needs for all that we offer. Therefore, we’re expanding our network with 300 more sites across the circle, and are confident that our further strengthened portfolio of new products will delight our customers and help us continue the growth path we have carved for ourselves in UP (East).”
