Airtel has upgraded its SMS 2.0 application, an alternate to the default SMS client found in most phones. The latest version of SMS2.0 comes with quick search and has 28 cool emoticons. Airtel is also offering Rs. 100 worth free wallpaper and animations with its latest version of the SMS 2.0 application.
SMS is one of the most popular applications on the mobile phone, however the interface for SMS has seen little change over the years. While its online counterparts like e-mail and chat have advanced quite a bit with regards to personalization and interactivity, SMS has remained static and dull.
