India's first 3G Mobile service operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today introduces new prepaid 3G plan dubbed as Tikadi Plan (Triplet Plan) with Unlimited Free Calling facility (without any cap) on 1 MTNL Landline/CDMA number and 1 MTNL GSM Mobile number in Mumbai circle at monthly service charges of Rs.20.
MTNL's all prospective subscriber can activate this plan by FRC88 which provides above benefits along with free talktime of Rs.33 valid for one year. The new plan will be available from 9th April, 2012.
Apart from 2 numbers, Local and STD call charges will be 1p/sec (Voice and Video). 3G Data/Mobile Internet charges will be 1p/10 KB. Local SMS to MTNL network (including MTNL Delhi) will be charged at 25paisa per SMS; for other operator in Mumbai at 50 paisa per SMS; and National SMS at Rs.1 per SMS.
How To Activate Free Calling Facility :
For Unlimited Free calling (without any cap) on 2 MTNL numbers, customer will have to pay Rs. 20 per month as group management charges and one time charges Rs.25 per number for Number Registration charges. MTNL To add Mobile and Landline Number, Tikadi plan subscriber needs to dial *456# and activate MyGroup service; and dial *456*1*91 (Mobile Number/Landline Number folowed by 22)# to add desired MTNL Landline/CDMA/Dolphin/Trump number for free callings.
Discount Offer for Existing MTNL Land-line/Dolphin Customers :
MTNL will also give loyalty discount to all existing MTNL Landline / Dolphin customers for Tikadi plan whereas they can obtain this plan at discounted rate of Rs.50 (Rs.10 for SIM & Rs.40 for FRC) in stead of Rs.98. However such customers are required to produce copy of their latest paid bill.
